SEPT 9 Show: VORT-I-FEST, the best music festival in Sedona

Brad Sussman talks with Jason Lawrence, one of the co-founders of Vortifest, a Sedona Music Festival & Experience being held September 23 & 24 at the Sedona Performing Arts Center & Sedona Red Rock High School Stadium Fields

The concept of Vortifest was born when business owners Chef David Schmidt, Rachel Grant and Jason Lawrence of local craft water purveyor Sedona Water Works joined with local musician Brandon Decker in a vision of bringing music, community and an amazing experience to Sedona.

This year we are back bigger than ever and bringing you grammy award winning headliners Arrested Development along with G Love and Special Sauce. They will be joined by the Yawpers, Decker, Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra, Banana Gun, Adam Bruce and Damiyr.

This year our festival expands with a Friday night kick off stand-up comedy show featuring Brent Pella (MTV 200+ million views) and friends to get the weekend started.

Beyond the music, the festival will include a host of new experiences along with craft food trucks and beverages, local artisan vendor village, kids’ zone, and more.

Hydration provided by Sedona Water Works. VIP parking available at the high school (limited to 300 spots) and overflow parking across the street at Yavapai College and Sedona Cultural Park.
