NOV 5 SHOW: Rev. Dona Johnson on God, America & Pray Sedona 2021

This week Brian hosts Rev. Dona Johnson, co-chair of PraySedona2021, a community prayer vigil hosted and funded by local residents on November 6 at 10AM, Posse Grounds Pavilion, Sedona. This year’s theme is: America Unites. This is not a political event. But is strictly an opportunity to gather as a community to pray for our nation and bless those who so generously volunteer their time, talents and treasure to make our Nation great. Rev. Dona Johnson’s is an ordained pastor in the North American Lutheran Church (thenalc.org) and pastor of GracePointe of Sedona. Having spent over 20 years in design and architecture and after designing a chapel for a pediatric hospital, she entered into chaplaincy and them seminary.


Pastor Dona’s ministry includes her passion for stewardship and building cultures of generosity in congregations, fundraising, and mental health ministry. She chair’s the Living and Giving Stewardship Team, for the NALC. She also chaired the board of directors for The Castle, a nonprofit day drop-in program for those who live with mental illness and disabilities. 


Rev. Dona holds a Masters of Divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary and United Theological Seminary, Master of Science in Architecture and received a one-year fellowship in the American Institute of Architects. She moved from southern Ohio to Sedona with her husband Mike in 2019. Together, they love sharing their faith, hiking, stewardship of all kinds and truly feel blessed by the God!
