MARCH 11 Show: Walt Blackman Update on AZ Legislative Session including Emergency Bills, Oil Prices and Campaign Update

Walt Blackman

Brian Sussman’s guest this week is Arizona House Rep. Walt Blackman, who is running for U.S. Congress in CD2 to replace Democrat O’Halleran.  Now more than ever, we need to minimize the damage done to Arizona and our Country by the Democrats handling of….well…. just about everything. Record gas prices, record inflation, lost jobs, lost freedoms, high-crime and now on the brink of World War. People are mad.

Walt has the political, military and business experience combined with strong moral values to guide us out of this mess. Listen to the show to learn his solutions on the immediate issues and long-term strategic changes we need.

Walt Blackman earned a Bronze Star for combat action in Iraq as well as a Meritorious Service Medal. He served seven tours of duty in some of the most dangerous battlefields on Earth, including Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq, where he fought in the Second Battle of Fallujah, the bloodiest battle in the Iraq War. Walt Blackman served in the United States Army for nearly 22 years as a Front Line Tank Commander and Sexual Harassment and Assault Prevention Senior Program Manager Specialist.

One of Walt’s other signature issues is working to improve access to care by expanding and investing in telehealth, tracking access to care data, offering transportation to VA facilities, and focusing on groups with increased access to care issues.

Upon completion of active duty, Walt moved to Snowflake, Arizona, with his wife and children. His desire to serve his country continued, and with the support of his family, he ran for the Arizona State Legislature. Walt won a contentious primary election in 2018 and went on to win the general election. He repeated this victory in 2020.
